Early Life

1982-1986 attended private school and studied piano, dancing, and singing.

1990 graduated from high school.

1991-1992 studied at community college majoring in business administration and computer science.

Career

1992-1995 gained national popularity on the hit dance TV show MTV the Grind as "Bertman" and during this time was also running a successful chain of hip hop dance programs and performing at dozens of shows with major artists.

1996-1997 moved to Los Angeles and appeared on several episodes of the hit TV dance show Soul Train. During this time he was also featured in the motion picture Night at the Roxbury as the main break dancer.

1998 moved to Japan and started working for Johnny's Entertainment as a dance instructor for many of their popular boy bands.

1998-1999 danced for and choreographed many famous Japanese and American artists.

1999-2012 established DME NYC, a company that would become popular for inviting American recording artists to Japan to perform.

2013 changed the name of the company to DME WORLD.

2014-2024 DME WORLD CEO, head choreographer, and music producer.
