Virginia Kahl (February 18, 1919 – November 4, 2004) was an American children's author and illustrator.

Biography

Virginia Kahl was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 18, 1919.[1]

She died in Inova Mount Vernon Hospital on November 4, 2004 due to a heart ailment.[2]

Style

Kahl's style, which featured verse fantasy with rhymed couplets, has been compared to Dr. Seuss.[3]
