Virtual football

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Virtual football is a computer-based game simulating real football. It resembles a game of FIFA or Pro Evolution Soccer, but with the main purpose of betting. This allows players to bet on a football emulator with computer generated odds and results. It is run by a special software built on a Random Number Generator.

Virtual football is one of the most popular virtual sports offered by bookmakers. Its popularity among gamblers comes from its 24/7 availability, the length of the matches (2-3 minutes) that allows many bets per day and week, and the possibility of betting in more than one match at the same time, among other characteristics.

Also, there isn’t any chance for corruption in virtual football, and no previous knowledge is needed. This could be a disadvantage at the same time, as some gamblers really want to prove their skills analyzing bets.

Virtual football also has other inconveniences, like the absence of the adrenaline and excitement of a real match and the still quite limited betting markets permitting this kind of games.

On retail, many bookmakers have implemented virtual football on their betting shops for years, with good results covering costs and increasing incomes.
