Vista Energy
Vista Energy (formerly Vista Oil & Gas) is an energy company engaged in the exploration and production of oil and gas, with a particular focus on shale oil.[1]. The company operates four extraction wells using hydraulic fracturing (fracking) in Argentina's Vaca Muerta formation. It is the ninth-largest natural gas producer in the region and the second-largest shale oil producer.[2], following YPF. Vista Energy is directed by Miguel Galuccio.

The company was founded by Miguel Galuccio[3][4], Juan Garoby, Pablo Vera Pinto, and Alejandro Cherñacov in 2017[5]
The company went public on the Mexican Stock Exchange in 2017[6][7] and later on the New York Stock Exchange in 2019[8], following the acquisition of two companies with an operational platform in Argentina in 2018[9]
