Vitaliy Bilyy
Vitaliy Bilyy is a Ukrainian operatic baritone. He has performed with companies including the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Opera House, San Francisco Opera and LA Opera.[1][2][3][4]
Bilyy came to wider attention after receiving an additional prize at Operalia in 2004.[5][6]
His international appearances have included Paolo Albiani in Simon Boccanegra at La Scala, Count di Luna in Il trovatore at the Bavarian State Opera and the Metropolitan Opera, and Miller in Luisa Miller at San Francisco Opera.[7][8][9][10]
In 2017 he appeared at the Royal Opera House in Il trovatore, replacing Dmitri Hvorostovsky during the run.[11][12][13]
In 2019 he appeared as Giorgio Germont in La traviata at LA Opera. Reviews in the Los Angeles Times, Classical Voice North America and Parterre Box commented positively on his performance.[14][15][16]
