Vivek Parat is an Indian author and computer scientist and a politician from Kerala, India. He is best known for his debut book, "Onnukalum Poojyamgalum Swakaryathayilekk datakannukal"

Vivek Parat was born and raised in Vengara Malappuram Kerala, India. He completed his Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Calicut. And also he completed his Degree Bsc Computer Science from MG University.

Vivek Parat is a computer scientist and an author[3]. He worked as the Assistant to the minister for Local Self Governing Department & Excise. And he is now working as assistant to the Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly.[4] His debut book, "Once and Zeros", was published in 2023 and quickly gained attention for its unique perspective on the relationship between technology and society.[5] In the book, Parat explores the impact of technology on our lives, from our relationships with others to our own sense of self.
