Vivek Ramachandran is the Founder and Chief Trainer at Pentester Academy.[1] He discovered the Caffe Latte attack, broke WEP Cloaking – a WEP protection scheme, conceptualized enterprise Wi-Fi Backdoors, and created Chellam, the world's first Wi-Fi Firewall. [2][3]

He is the author of *Kali Linux Wireless Penetration Testing: Beginner's Guide* and *BackTrack 5 Wireless Penetration Testing Beginner's Guide*, which are published by Packt[4]

He was a speaker at c0c0n 2013, an international cyber security and policing conference[5]

Recent researches

  • Vivek created an attack that tricks a computer into thinking it is logged on to a wi-fi network it trusts. It exploits the basic hand-shaking system in wi-fi to get hold of a lot of data it can analyse to crack a key.[6]
