Vogue Institute of Art & Design is a design school run by Manduda Educational Trust, a charitable organization based in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is affiliated to Bengaluru North University.[1][2][3]

Vogue Institute of Art & Design is established in 1996 by Dr. M.M. Kariappa. The institute runs under Manduda Educational Trust, a charitable organization. The Institute was the first institute that starts a degree program in fashion designing in 1999 with Bangalore University, and is now affiliated to Bengaluru North University. It was formerly known as Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology.[4]
In 2018, Vogue expanded its realm and launched Dr Kariappa School of Art and Design Management, recognized by AICTE. The institute provides MBA programs with different streams.[3][1][4]
In Sep 2020, Institute opened a tech center in Bengaluru for digital publishing.[5]

- MBA - 2 Years full time degree program in (Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management), (Fashion Design and Business Management) and (Interior Design and Management) approved by University of Mysore
Under Graduate[edit]

- B.Sc - 3 years full time program in Fashion and Apparel design, Interior design. The courses are approved by Bengaluru North University.
- BVA - 4 years full time program in Animation & Multimedia, Textile design. The courses are approved by Bengaluru North University.
- Bachelor in Jewellery Design and Management, 3 years full time graduation program, approved by University of Mysore.
Diploma Programs[edit]
The Institute provides 1 Year diploma programs in Fashion design, Interior design, Jewellery design, Graphic and Web Designing, VFX- PRO, Multimedia, 3D Animation and more.[6][7]
Campus[edit]
The institute is located at Apparel Park, Doddaballapur, Bengaluru, the 4 acre campus is surrounded by 190+ apparel and manufacturing organizations. The campus infrastructure includes labs with software and modernized equipment, workstations, amphitheater, and auditorium designed for inducing experiential learning.[4][7]
International alliances[edit]
The Institute of Art & Design is in collaborated with international education institutes such as De Montfort University UK, University of Sunderland UK,[1] and Accademia Del Lusso Italy. s.[8][9]
Events[edit]
Vogue Institute of Art & Design hosts cultural events for its students and professors, annual event - Vogue Mystique Designer Awards, where the students are given a platform to showcase their creativity.[10][11]
Every year, the institute organizes ethnic day programs, annual day and republic day events.[12][13][14]
Rankings[edit]
In 2015 it was rated as among top 10 fashion and design institutions in India 2015 by India Today magazine;[15] in 2017, the institute was ranked 11th by the magazine.[16] In 2019, it was ranked 22nd positionon the list generated by Outlook India.[17]
Textile craft[edit]
On International Women's Day, the students reached out to women inmates at Parapana Agrahara prison and taught them how to make jewellery and knit.[18] The students also participate in fashion shows like Deccan Herald Metrolife Fashion Show to showcase designs and choreography[19]
