Vournas Coffee Trading, LLC[1][2][3] is a family-owned specialty coffee importing company founded in 2002 by brothers Michael Vournas [4] and Andrew Vournas[5], who is currently a part of the board of directors in Pacific Coast Coffee Association.[6]
Vournas Coffee Trading specializes in sourcing fair trade coffee and green coffee[7] from growers who produce specialty-grade Arabica coffees in Africa, Indonesia, Central America and South America[8]

. They sell to roasters and wholesalers across the United States and worldwide. They are based in Westlake Village, California. Vournas Coffee Trading stores and ships coffee at warehouses in San Leandro, California; Carteret, New Jersey; and New Orleans, Louisiana.

Advocacy
The company is a dedicated partner to Grower's First[10][11], an advocacy for farmers in remote areas of the world. One of its projects was planting 1000 trees in Oaxaca Mexico to help communities recover from the 2012 outbreak of hemileia vastatrix, a coffee leaf rust.[12][13]
Other than helping farmers and coffee farms, Vournas Coffee has also been supporting health programs in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Peru, among others, through Grounds for Health.[14]
Partnerships
- Vournas Coffee partnered with Kaapi Royal Coffee on September 1, 2011, to import coffees from India.[15]
