Vredehoek Public Library is a municipal public library located in Vredehoek, Cape Town, South Africa. The library is embedded in the centrally located suburb.[1]
History
The original library opened on 25 April 1963, on the corner of Derry and Exner Streets. Later on the library building moved and opened on 19 April 1971. The architectural details include wood paneled ceilings and laminated arches.[2]
Facilities & Services
The library offers public amenities including:
