Career[edit]

W. Scott Parker III is an American actor, director, and writer.  Parker first gained major recognition for his work starring in Ted Lange’s comedic play, ''Four Queens - No Trump.’’  He received favorable reviews for his film work with George Clooney, Giancarlo Esposito, Peter Gerety, and Derrick Borte.  Parker’s most recent directorial effort is the satirical send up comedy, ”Bob & his Enlarged Amygdala.”

Early Life[edit]

Parker was born in 1958 to Walter and Martha Parker.  His father was an Army Air Corps Pursuit (Fighter) Pilot during World War II, serving in the China Burma India Theater (CBI) under The Earl Mountbatten of Burma.  Parker played football under the legendary Coach Paul Taylor.  Parker’s ethnicity is Scandinavian 51% and Western Europe 40%.  Prior to becoming an actor, Parker taught skiing at Keystone Resort Colorado.  He continues as an avid skier.

Acting School[edit]

Parker studied acting with Director Andrew Lane of the Roy London School. Parker currently teaches acting combining both the London and Mamet approaches.

Political Views[edit]

Parker worked in three campaigns against Governor George Wallace. He was attacked during one of the campaigns by racist Wallace supporters. He also campaigned for Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. He is a Democratic Socialist and supports many progressive causes including strict gun controls.

Humanitarian Work[edit]

Parker volunteers with the international non-profit organization, “Recovering from Religion.”
