The UK Open is a ranking major darts tournament held in England by the WillMan Darts Career (WDC). The event has an unseeded open draw for every round, and entry is open to the top 64 players on the WDC circuit. The WDC top 16 enter in the third round. The tournament has a prize fund of £600,000 and a winner's share of £120,000.
Format
The top 64 dart players of the WillMan Darts Career (WDC) circuit qualify for this tournament.
The format is as follows (as of 2026):
- First round: The bottom 32 players start in this round.
- Second round: The next 16 players enter the tournament at this stage.
- Third round to final: The 16 best WDC players join the remaining winners from the first and second rounds.
The draws for every single round is done completely randomly as soon as each previous round is concluded meaning any player could be drawn against any player.
