The WFP Innovation Accelerator is an initiative of the United Nations World Food Programme aimed at identifying, nurturing, and scaling innovative solutions to global hunger and food security challenges.

Launched in 2015 and based in Munich, Germany, the WFP Innovation Accelerator has supported 106 innovation projects in 88 countries and territories and impacted the lives of 37 million people. It is funded by the governments of Germany and Luxembourg and USAID.[1]
