WSK Meduza was a Polish microcar prototype designed in 1957.
Description
The prototype was first presented on July 22, 1957, together with the Mikrus MR-300. It was designed to present an alternative body for a small Polish car. It is built on the Mikrus MR-300 chassis, its passenger compartment offers 4 seats, the trunk is accessible from the outside thanks to the hood that imitates a radiator grille. The wheel suspension is independent, equipped with hydraulic shock absorbers. The two-stroke engine with a displacement of 296 cm³ is placed at the rear of the vehicle and develops a power of 14.5 hp at 5100 rpm and a torque of 19.6 N m at 3500 rpm. The movement is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual gearbox.
