WWE2K22 Is a upcoming professional wrestling game that is currently TBD to release in 2021. WWE 2K22 is the tenth installment of the WWE2K series and the 2nd game in the WWE2K series not to be developed by Yuke's. Every WWE Game in the WWE 2K Series had been developing the game since its inception in 2000. WWE2K22 is the twenty-thrid game in the Series.[1]
When WWE2K20 had received negative reviews , it had been cancelled in favor for WWE2K Battlegrounds and for WWE2K to work on 2K22 & Receive feedback. The games predecessor WWE2K Battlegrounds , Released in September 2020 has received very mixed reviews.
The game had been unveiled on Night 1 of WrestleMania 37,[2][3][4][5] Through a teaser trailer. Patrick Gilmore recently promised that the game would rely on quality more than gameplay.[6][7][8]
2K's WWE2K Feedback project.[edit]
In May of 2020 WWE 2K's "Feedback Project"[9] started , Which had consisted of constructive criticism and new features to add for the next game being WWE2K22 , Which could be found on the 2K Forums. This program had launched on May 8th 2020 and had ended on May 5th of 2020. This feedback would go on to be used to "Fix" the broken parts of the game.
WWE 2K20 being dubbed as broken.[edit]
WWE 2K20 had been dubbed as broken[10] so many times to the point where 2K could not take it anymore. There had been multiple upon multiple articles on 2K20 ,due to this they had also left the WWE2K19 servers on. It had been clear that 2K needed to do something, so to combat this they 1, Left the WWE2k19 servers on and 2, Launched the feedback Project in May of 2020. They had also tried to fix the glitches that happened in 2K20. WWE 2K21 was cancelled because of these issues. 2K Promised to fix some of these issues and whilst they did we still got glitches like this.
