WZTN (89.9 FM) is a radio station in Cornersville, Tennessee. It is a listener-supported radio station licensed to Road Map Ministries.[1] The station broadcasts a Christian hot adult contemporary/classic hits format that targets adults 25 to 54 years old.

History[edit]

On May 21, 2008, Tightrope Broadcasting, Inc. obtained a construction permit for a new noncommercial radio station on 89.9 MHz at Cornersville. Before being built, the permit was transferred to Lightwave, Inc., which signed the station on as Christian-formatted WLWW in December 2012. The facility was silent from February 8, 2018, to February 6, 2019, due to an inability to renew the lease on its first tower site.[2]

In March 2020, Lightwave filed to donate the station to Road Map Ministries, owners of the then-WUNT in Princeton, Illinois.[1] The station changed its call letters to WZTN on November 6, 2020, and adopted the same "Z" format that had recently been installed at the Illinois station.
