Wali Da Great
Wali Smitherly Jackson, (born August 15, 1998) known professionally as Wali Da Great, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. He rose to attention and acclaim in 2019, when he released his mixtape Southside Gangstah. The mixtape had viral hit singles like "Blue Rag", "Bust Down", "South side" which have made him now a known house hold name in the underground rap scene.

Early Life[edit]
Wali Smitherly Jackson was born in Houston, Texas. He was 6 years old when his father was shot and killed by a burglar who attempted to break in to their house, leaving his single mother to raise him and his two siblings. He attended Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia were he would be named all american basketball player. Wali Da Great began to take an interest in rap music at a young age, and mainly listened to Lil Boosie, Nipsey Hussle and Yo Gotti.
Career[edit]
In 2019, Wali Da Great released the mixtape Southside Gangstah under T.I. Grand Hustle Records imprint, the mixtape gained him a huge following and buzz in the Atlanta area.
