Jack Walsh (Born May 12, 2006) better known as Walshhh, is a British esports player, most notable for being a professional Fortnite player. Walshhh played for Team Secret during the prime of his esports career, being the lead player for the teams Fortnite team, before being released for multiple statements he released revealing his true feelings towards the esports community. Walshhh has played in 4 Fortnite Championship Series grand finals, one of which he won. He continues to play Fortnite to this day and is still one of the leading players in the game. In February 2022 Walshhh announced that he would be signing to Optimal Ambition a highly competitive esports team.

Early Life[edit]

Walshhh was born on 13 May 2006, reportedly in Bury, Greater Manchester, England. He is of British descent.

He is currently in high school, attending St Gabriels RC High School, he has explained that he will not drop out of school regardless of his status in the esports community, he started playing Fortnite in mid 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown and by the time he had returned to school 6 months later, he had acumulatedd over $8,000 in earnings. Recently he has started to stream on the site Twitch under the alias of WalshhhGGs.

Career[edit]

Wave Esports[edit]

Walshhh began his career as a Semi-Professional esports player for Wave Esports, a German esports team who have a history of being the creators of tier 1 professional esports players. After playing for Wave Esports for over 6 months he left the team over a personal dispute with the owners.

Alpha Esports[edit]

After departing with Wave Esports Walshhh chose to create his own team by the name of Alpha Esports, upon the creation of the team Walshhh proceeded to sign the most wanted players without hesitation, this caused a large amount of controversy which ended with a hefty legal feud with Wave Esports, due to this the team was disbanded and Walshhh was left as a free agent.

Team Secret[edit]

In July 2021, Walshhh announced that he would be joining Team Secret as the new lead for their Fortnite roster, within the first week of him playing for his new team, Walshhh had qualified for the Fortnite Championship Series finals, in which he placed first - winning his trio $300,000. 2 months later Walshhh had qualified for Grand Royale - the Fortnite 2021 World Cup. In this tournament he placed second, qualifying for the 2022 Fortnite world cup. In January 2022 Walshhh was released from Team Secret due to a statement he released on how he was mistreated by the team and people who were associated with the esports community.
