Walter (meme)
Walter (Nelson) is an Internet meme. It is an image of the bull terrier Nelson, most often one where it looks directly in front of a camera and hides its ears, but sometimes another image of the same bull terrier or another one and sometimes in a popular meme format.[1] Walter likes fire trucks and monster trucks (monster trucks is a misspelling of monster trucks).
History
On 2018-03-09, Twitter profile @PupperNelson tweeted "when u open the front-facing camera on accident" with an image of the bull terrier. It then became a meme. It started showing popularity in social media Twitter and Reddit.
Walter Clements
On 2018-10-16, Reddit user u/Dantadow posted a screenshot of a YouTube channel with the name "Walter Clements"' comment "i like fire trucks and moster trucks" and a reply to himself - "walter". This meme also got popular and people started using it and shitposting by replying "walter" to random posts.[2] It is also the origin of Walter liking fire trucks and monster trucks (monster trucks).
