Walter Love MBE (1935/1936 – 26 January 2024) was a Northern Irish BBC broadcaster. He started out as a freelance contributor to BBC radio in the 1950s, before landing a job as a studio manager in London.[1] He then spent a decade as a TV newsreader in Belfast before joining Radio Ulster in 1978.[1] He was awarded an MBE in 1997 for his work in radio journalism.[1] Love died on 26 January 2024, at the age of 88.[2] His career spanned over 77 years.[3]
