Wanda Barcelona
Wanda Barcelona is a contemporary design studio based in Barcelona, Spain. It was founded by Daniel Mancini and Inti Vélez in 2007.[1] They studio specializes in large-scale artistic installations, ephemeral architecture,[2] display windows, and sculptural environments created mainly from paper and cardboard.
History
Colombian industrial designer Daniel Mancini and Colombian architect Inti Vélez met in Barcelona and soon formed Wanda Barcelona. The founders shared an interest in origami, handcrafted design, and paper art, which became the foundation of the studio's creative approach. Spanish artist Iris Joval soon joined the team, contributing an artistic dimension to the studio's projects.[3][4] Today Daniel Mancini is Creative Director, Inti Vélez is General Manager, and Iris Joval is Head Designer.

Karl Lagerfeld: ModeMethode (2015)
Wanda Barcelon created a large-scale paper installation for a museum retrospective exhibition dedicated to Karl Lagerfeld at the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn, Germany.[5][6] The project involved tens of thousands of handcrafted paper elements assembled into an immersive architectural environment.
Christian Dior, Couturier du Rêve (2017)
For this exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Wanda Barcelona created an immersive handcrafted paper garden inspired by Christian Dior's lifelong fascination with flowers and gardens.[7] Comprising thousands of paper botanical elements, including roses, lilies of the valley, and and cascading wisteria, the installation transformed the exhibition galleries into theatrical landscapes that complemented the house's couture creations and reinforced the exhibition's exploration of Dior's enduring connection to nature.[8]
