It is unclear where Wang Cuiqiao's hometown is, she is only known as a prostitute in Linzi, Shandong in the Ming dynasty, taking the technical name of Qinhuai. Later Cuiqiao was ransomed by pirate Xu Hai to be his wife. Xu Hai, with Chendong, is a pirate under Wang Zhi, affiliated with Wokou.
