Warut Woratham (Thai: วรุฒ วรธรรม), nicknamed O (Thai: โอ), was born on 17 th September 1969. He is a Thai actor who used to be a leading role of many Thai movies and soap operas.

Biography[edit]

Warut Woratham is the son of Mr. Ram Woratham and Miss Orapin Kunchon na Ayutthaya. He graduated from Bangkok Christian School[1] and became a magazine model a few years later. [2]
In 1988, Warut had a chance to be a leading actor, role as “Kobori Yooichi”, of the movie named “Khu Kam” (Sunset at Chaophraya) and was received Sarasvati Award #12 in the term of Rising Star.[3][4] Because of the success of this movie, he came to be a superstar and always played as a leading role both movies and soap operas. [4]
Warut also used to be a host of many TV programs which the famous one was O-No Show, a variety show that he was a co-host with his close friend, Metanee Buranasiri.[5] After several years of entertainment media, Warut got married with “Jessadawan Chantaeng” and had a son named “Anachak Woratham”, by the way, they divorced for the private problem 3 years later. [6]
Warut had been alcoholic for 30 years and lost a lot of his jobs later because his alcoholism. In 2017, He decided to heal his alcoholism and went to live in Chiang Mai by opening his restaurant named “Ban Warut”.[7]
Finally, Warut was passed away on 11th September 2018 because of his worst health from alcoholism, but his name and performance will be memorized by his fans forever.[8]
