Wassim Odeh
Wassim Odeh (Arabic: وسيم عودة, Hebrew: וסים עודה Nazareth, Galilee, Israel, 1979) is a Palestinian oud virtuoso and composer.
Music Career
He began playing the oud at age 12. He attended Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and received a first and second degree in music; he also worked as a professor of the oud instrument for 7 years, as well as at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music.
He is working on a doctoral dissertation on the music of Mohamed Abdel Wahab.

- 2014 - Marcel Khalife Award for Young Palestinian Composer, at Palestine National Music Competition
