Wayne Ray Chavis is an American Singer Songwriter. musician, producer, recording artist, active Heavy Haul trucker.

Wayne Ray Chavis plays all instruments involved in the tracks on his albums. Learned to play guitar by ear with first lessons from his Dad and Grandmother on Mother's side of the family. Grandmother on Dad's side showed Wayne Ray Chavis his first cords on the organ, while his Unkle Louis on Dad's side showed him 3 cords on the mandolin. First public performance in fifth grade in the elementary school gym with a couple peers. Then started playing in Church as a guitarist and drummer, along with talent shows, and venues,went on to play in an easy listening contemporary church band, performing at various places including state prisons.
