WeMoney is an Australian financial technology company that develops a personal finance application offering budgeting and expense tracking. The app connects to participating institutions under Australia’s Consumer Data Right (open banking).[1][2]
History
WeMoney launched publicly in 2020 alongside a seed round of A$2 million led by BetterLabs Ventures and other investors.[1] In February 2022 the company was accredited as an Authorised Data Recipient under the Consumer Data Right.[2] In April 2025, the Australian Financial Review reported an A$12 million Series A led by Lance East Office with Mastercard participating, and noted a valuation of about A$100 million as the company considered a potential ASX listing.[3][4]
