Wellington College International Hangzhou （杭州惠灵顿外籍人员子女学校） is an international school located in Xiaoshan Innovation Polis in Hangzhou, China. It is a co-educational day British international school for children of expatriate families from the ages of 5 - 18. The College opened in September 2018.[1]
Curriculum[edit]
Years 1-2: Pre-Prep: English National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum.
Years 3-7: Prep School: English National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum.
Years 8-10: International General Certificate of Secondary Education
Years 11-Year 13: IB Diploma Programme or A Levels.[2]
Architecture[edit]
The external appearance of the College's facilities reflect its heritage from Wellington College in England, and its sister schools, Wellington College International Tianjin and Wellington College International Shanghai.
Wellington Academy Programme[edit]
The Wellington Academy Programme provides additional lessons to children in Hangzhou, with activities including sports, sciences and the arts. Wellington Academy is led by the Academy Director, Carlton Palmer.
