Wendeline Joan Doell (born March 19, 1963), who uses the pen name Wendy Roberts, is a Canadian novelist of mystery and supernatural fiction.

Roberts's first novel, Dating Can Be Deadly, was published by Red Dress Inc. in 2005.[1][2][3]

Roberts launched the Ghost Dusters series with The Remains of the Dead (2007),[4] which follows a professional crime scene cleaner who communicates with the dead while solving mysteries. The novel was followed by Devil May Ride (2008), Dead and Kicking (2009),[5] Dead Suite (2013), and Drop Dead Beauty.[6]

In 2013, Roberts published her second standalone novel, Grounds to Kill.

Roberts launched the Bodies of Evidence series with A Grave Calling (2017).[7][8][9] This series follows a character with a unique ability to locate dead bodies.The series continued with A Grave Search (2018), A Grave Peril (2019),[10] and A Grave End (2019).[11]

In 2022, Roberts published another standalone novel, Burning Hope.[12]
