Established in 2013, Westlake International School (WIS) is a private international school with boarding facilities in Kampar, Perak..[1] [2] [3][4]WIS provides British-based education for students ages 3 to 17 years old, with an Early Years Centre (age 3–4), Primary School (age 4–11), Secondary School (age 12–16) and A-Level (age 16-17). Accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), and Boarding School's Association (BSA), WIS offers the IGCSE and A Levels examinations.[5][6][7]

Founded in 2013, the school was established by Tan Sri Dato’ Hew See Tong, former tin miner and former MP of Kampar from 1995 till 2008 [8]

Nestled within the Kinta Valley mountain, the school located near UTAR Hospital and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR).
