Westrobothnian Expedition
The Westrobothnian Expedition (Russian: Вестроботническая экспедиция; Swedish: Västerbottensexpeditionen) was the final counteroffensive undertaken by the Swedish army during the Finnish War. The objective was to push the troops of Nikolay Kamensky out of Westrobothnia. According to the Swedish plan, 7500 Swedish troops would land behind the Russian troops under the command of Georg Carl von Döbeln and Fabian Wrede in order to force a surrender of the Russian troops.
