WezaBet is a Kenyan-based online sports betting and casino platform.[1]
History
WezaBet was established in 2024 in Kenya.[2] In late 2024 and early 2025, the brand adopted a communication strategy linked to local urban culture, collaborating with rapper Ssaru and hip hop group Wakadinali.[1][3]
Licensing and operations
WezaBet is owned by Arasaka, operated by Games Dreams Technologies Ltd and licensed by the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) of Kenya.[4] The platform offers sports betting (pre-match and live), online casino games, and crash games.[5] It also emphasizes local payment integration and targeted welcome bonuses.[6]
Partnerships
In December 2024, WezaBet launched a campaign with rapper Ssaru and Wakadinali.[1]In January 2025, the platform sponsored the release of the single Weza and related promotions, which received coverage in several Kenyan media outlets.[7][8][9]
