Whimsical Records is a UK-based independent record label, created in Edinburgh in 2001. It is a sub-label of Platform Records.
The label saw chart success in 2006 with Stirling band Jack Butler's debut single Velvet Prose[1] entering the UK Indie Chart[2] and the Scottish chart [3] on 1 October 2006, reaching numbers 27 and 32 respectively.
