The Whirling Whimpus is a fearsome critter from American folklore akin to a giant gorilla with large arms and horse-like hooves. It has the ability to spin around into a small tornado to catch prey (similar to Taz of Looney Tunes fame), which it turns into a substance similar to syrup. [1][2]
