Whisper Lake is a freshwater lake situated slightly north of Sebring, Florida. Whisper Lake is actually four bodies of water, all manmade, and the total surface area of water totals approximately 1.35 acres (5,500 m2). The bodies of water are all located inside the Whisper Lake Mobile Home Community and exist as landscaping features. No swimming, fishing, or boating is allowed on the bodies of water.[1][2]
Two of the parts of Whisper Lake resemble canals, running through two rows of mobile homes. The westernmost of these has a fountain at its west end. A third body of water is a tiny, rectangular area measuring 100 by 30 feet (9.1 m). The widest body of water, measuring approximately 310 by 125 feet (38 m), is in the southeast corner of the mobile home park. On its northeast is the park clubhouse, outdoor pool, and tennis courts.[1]
The main entrance to the lake is found at Whisper Circle.[3]
