WhiteBIT is a centralized European cryptocurrency exchange from Ukraine with over 3 million users worldwide. The exchange features over 450 trading pairs with popular cryptocurrencies, 30+ of which are pairs with national currencies (fiat pairs). History

WhiteBIT was founded in 2018.[5] The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is Volodymyr Nosov.[6][7][1][][9]

2020

The launch of the Gagarin Show, the world's first entertaining YouTube show about cryptocurrencies with celebrities. It’s a unique product of the WhiteBIT ecosystem that aims to spread up-to-date information about blockchain in an entertaining manner.[10]

The platform partnered with Hacken.io, a leading cybersecurity service provider specializing in blockchain technologies. Hacken conducts an exchange security audit to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure that WhiteBIT meets the highest security requirements.[23 September 2020 1]

The WhiteBIT ecosystem launched a new product, the Bitcoin Global peer-to-peer platform. Bitcoin Global allows users to exchange cryptocurrencies fee-free and with no verification.[11]

The platform launched WhiteSwap, an automated market maker (AMM) of a decentralized bank (DEX) that works on Ethereum.[12]

2021

WhiteBIT partnered with the Ukrainian mobile bank, monobank. As a result, the exchange users can deposit hryvnia (UAH) fee-free with the monobank card.[13]

WhiteBIT took part in the AIBC UAE Summit, a meeting of the world's leading experts in regulation, policymaking, technological development, and advanced research of blockchain technologies.[14]

WhiteBIT became the platinum sponsor of the BlockchainUA tenth international conference, which took place in Kyiv on November 3, 2021. The event was dedicated to relevant issues in blockchain and decentralized technologies.[15]

2022

WhiteBIT partnered with the Ukrainian mobile operator, lifecell. It is the world’s first case of collaboration between communication and cryptocurrency companies. [16] WhiteBIT began a collaboration with the leading eSports platform, FACEIT. As part of the partnership, the companies provide the gaming community with a number of special events and activities that offer users an easy start and access to the cryptocurrency world. Thanks to the collaboration, FACEIT users have access to CS:GO missions and events within the WhiteBIT HUB EU and WhiteBIT HUB EU EAST communities.

WhiteBIT has announced integration with the Ukrainian state service, Diia. In addition to facilitating identity verification, the partnership enables quick and easy crypto transfers for the civilians affected by hostilities in Ukraine.

WhiteBIT launched the Whitepay cryptocurrency processing system. In collaboration with Whitepay, there was created a special fundraising platform to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukrainian civilians affected by the war in Ukraine. Anyone can make a transfer to the needs of the Ukrainian army and Ukrainian citizens in more than 90 assets.[2][17][18][19][20]

WhiteBIT signed a memorandum with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The partnership aims to unite the state and business efforts to assist Ukraine and Ukrainians during the war.

The initiatives include:

• comprehensive organizational support and assistance for the consular service of Ukraine in countries where there are the WhiteBIT offices;
• support of the Anti-Crisis Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and a 24/7 call center for consulting Ukrainian citizens;
• provision of technical equipment for mobile groups of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
• promotion of the creation of barrier-free access for people with hearing impairments to foreign diplomatic missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their services.

The Whitepay cryptocurrency processing system, which is part of the WhiteBIT ecosystem, has become a partner of United24, an initiative of the president of Ukraine to raise funds for military and humanitarian support, as well as the reconstruction of Ukraine. As part of the partnership, Whitepay will provide the ability to accept donations in most currencies and more than 100 cryptocurrencies. Besides, it ensures control of payments and their security.[28][29]

Eurovision 2022

On May 26-28, 2022, the Kalush Orchestra band organized a charity auction to sell a pink bucket hat and a crystal microphone from Song Contest 2022|Eurovision 2022. WhiteBIT won the cup with the highest bid of $900,000.[30][31] The funds are sent to the [[Serhiy Prytula]] Charity Foundation to buy a PD-2 drone complex for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.[33][34][35][36][37][38][39][40][41][42][43]
