Whitney Sherman
Whitney Sherman is an American illustrator known for her Breast Cancer Research Stamp[1] and as the Director of the MFA in Illustration Practice at MICA.[2]
Career[edit]
Trained as a photographer, Sherman is a self-taught illustrator and designer recognized by American Illustration, Communication Arts, AIGA, Society of Publication Design, Society of Illustrators of NY and Los Angeles, and Art Director’s Club of NY, SF, DC and Baltimore.
Work for the U.S. Postal Service[edit]
Sherman created the first Breast Cancer Research stamp for the US Postal Service.[3]
