Wiener Bank-Verein Istanbul branch building is the most important symbolic building of Art Nouveau architecture and historical bank buildings in Istanbul and Turkey. It is built by an Austrian bank company Wiener Bank-Verein, which merged with the Creditanstalt bank and closed down in 1934. Today the building which is currently owned by Ziraat Bank although it stands with all its glory from the outside, it struggles to survive in an idle state as a rough construction that has been completely emptied under the name of renovation work.
