Early Life

Wieu Deng (born April 10, 2009) is a Canadian actor. He is best known for his role as Michael in Class Ache. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Career

Wieu Deng started off acting as an extra in few children’s series, such as “Gabby Duran & the Unsittables” and “Odd Squad”. Deng got his big break landing the role of protagonist, Michael Miller in the Canadian coming-of-age sci-fi comedy, Class Ache. Other notable roles include, being the host of “Questions We Ask as Humans”, and the role of the eldest son ‘Levi’ in the family sitcom, “Kurs in Chaos”. Wieu Deng is also a writer and director, working behind the scenes on the shows he acts in.

Personal Life

Born in Toronto, but raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Deng discovered his love of the performing arts while watching other (much older) kids acting on shows on the Canadian family channel. Deng struggled to find any acting jobs out in Alberta, as most roles weren’t for kids his age, and if they were, it would be open ethnically. Deng (at the young age of 12), resulted in co-creating his own show, and starring in it. In 2021, with the help of producers Aaron Wyatt Young and Brenda Bains, they developed the television series “Class Ache”, for Wibit TV.
