Wikibusines (formerly WikiBusiness) is a global reputation management agency that edits and published articles about persons and brands on Wikipedia. The agency has been operating since 2010 in the USA and Europe.[1][2]
In 2020, the company expanded its operations in Asia Pacific region and Africa.
History[edit]
The agency was created in 2010 by students of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and friends Bohdan Dubylovskyi and Roman Melnyk
Dubylovskyi and Melnyk are Wikipedians with many years of experience. In particular, they conducted many political campaigns in Ukraine and understand how Wikipedia is used by politicians and competitors to spread black PR.[3]
In 2021, Wikibusines made a rebranding having changed its name from WikiBusiness to Wikibusines.[4]

Wikibusines deals with the creation of articles in 47 language sections, and their support with protection in case of edit wars.
Wikibusiness also specializes in creating advertising and media campaigns and lead generation.
Social projects[edit]
The social project of Wikibusiness is the NGO "Wikipedia Ukraine" (alternative official name - "Ukrainian Wikipedia"), officially registered in January 2020.[5]
Wikipatrol[edit]
Wikipatrol was created in the summer of 2020. Its purpose is "to repel Russian aggression".
Wikipatrol is often in the focus of the national media, which reveal its features and details of conducting special operations against Russian propaganda on Wikipedia.
In particular, reports on Wikibusiness and Wikipatrol were published the largest Ukrainian news channels: by 5 channel[6], Fakty ICTV[7], channel 4[8], etc.
In February 2022, the Wikibusiness team fully devoted itself to the fight against Russia on the information front. Wikipatrol and Wikibusiness have written dozens of important articles about the crimes of Russians in Ukraine and heroes of Ukraine in different languages of Wikipedia.[9]
In September 2022, Roman Melnyk spoke online at the M100 Sanssouci Colloquium international event in Berlin, dedicated to the fight against Russian fakes within the framework of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The topic of Roman Melnyk's speech was: "Defending the Truth in Times of War in Ukraine".[10]
