Wild Nature is an adventure documentary following american comedian Nick Barraclough in his exploits of dangerous, natural and phenomenal adventures. The show is produced by Home Media and produced for 2 seasons. Nick released a short briefing on May 27, ahead 2 months of the premiere. Nick said in an interview promoting his show that Wild Nature stretches beyond the TV season, and he was in on it for the 'long run'. This does not mean Home Media wants to order season 3. Home Media is one company that is not keen on having long-running shows. 4 seasons is probably the most they air.

The first season's run had a wide range of viewership ratings, and Satellite was keen to take it off, but Nick declined. He claimed that the season had 'just too much action that nobody could keep up'.

A successful second season was set more on land. As a result of the popularity, a third season in the form of a revival special was commissioned, aired with little publicity, and the show sort of lingered away...

Overview[edit]

Wild Nature showcases Nick when he films the most memorable moments of his adventures, it is these moments that make Wild Nature fun. From the high altitude of the glaciers of BC, to the daring depths of the Okanagan Lake, Nick's new gig is more dangerous than ever, as he explores the province's most risky locations.

The episodes take you into the heat of the moment, the most interesting seconds. He will dive in, give you a brief overview, then it's all touch-and-go from there. Nick makes use of the precious seconds, if minutes, of his episodes.

Trivia[edit]

  • Nick had to re-think some of his episodes due to the 2021 BC Wildfires.
