Will Gollop (born 16 May 1950 in Canterbury), is an English former racing driver and engineer.
Biography
He started racing in 1972 in Autocross on a Mini 1000. After a few years in 1975 he moved to rallycross, competing in local and national championships, until Gollop became a full-time European Rallycross driver in 1987, ending in 4th overall in his debut season, driving a MG Metro 6R4. In the following season he didn't manage to win the title, being a spectator to the title battle between Martin Schanche and Matti Alamäki. In the 1992 season, Gollop won his first and only rallycross title, thanks to the struggling season performed by Schanche.[1]. After winning the title he changed cars, competing for the 1993 onwards with a Peugeot 306 16S, but he was unable to achieve the results obtained with the previous car[2]
