Will Heyburn is an American business executive serving as Chief Financial Officer of Blade Air Mobility (NASDAQ:BLDE), a technology-powered, global air mobility platform that is one of the largest air medical transporters of human organs for transplant in the world and a leading brand in passenger helicopter transportation. As CFO and Head of Corporate Development, Will is responsible for finance and strategic acquisitions while ensuring Blade makes investments that create long-term value for shareholders.
Prior to Blade, Will served as a Vice President at Redbird Capital Partners, a principal investment firm focused on
providing long-term capital in growth equity, build-up and structured equity investments. At RedBird, Will had investment management responsibility for TierPoint Datacenters, Zenith Shipping, N3 Results, and Ampler Restaurants.
Prior to RedBird, Will was a member of the U.S. Credit Investment Team at Oak Hill Advisors, L.P. where he invested in high-yield and distressed credit across Aerospace, Retail and Industrial companies.
Will began his career at Moelis and Company, where he focused on restructuring transactions including American Airlines' bankruptcy and subsequent merger with U.S. Airways.
Will received an A.B. in Government from Harvard University, where he was a four-year varsity letterman in men’s swimming and a Scholar All-American Honorable Mention.
Will was born in Louisville, Kentucky and attended Kentucky Country Day School where he was a two-time state champion and All-American swimmer.
