William Javier Salas (born June 4, 1991) in Caracas, Venezuela is a professional baseball infielder living in the United States. Salas has been signed to the Schaumburg Boomers for the 2022 season.
Salas attended Marshalltown Community College[1] and Graceland University[2], where he studied Business Administration and Economics[3] and played college baseball for the Graceland Yellowjackets where he was named Male Senior Athlete of the year.

Les Capitales de Quebec
Salas began his professional career playing for the Les Capitales de Quebec in the Canadian-American Association.[4]
Napa Silverados
Salas spent the season with the Napa Silverados in the Pacific Association, Monterey Amberjacks in the Pecos League, and Salina Stockade with the Canadian-American Association delivering a .287 Batting Average (BA) and .391 On Base Percentage (OBP).[4]
Salas returned in 2019 to the Napa Silverados where he ended the season with a .339 BA and .443 OBP.[4]
Jersey Wise Guys
The Jersey Wise Guys signed Salas for the All-American Baseball Challenge where he continued to put up impressive numbers with a .333 BA and .416 OBP.[4]
Gastonia Honey Hunters/ Houston Apollos
Salas split time in 2021 in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball with the Gastonia Honey Hunters and the American Association of Professional Baseball with the Houston Apollos, finishing the year with a BA of .243 and OBP of .343.[4] In his time with the Honey Hunters, Salas scored the winning run[5] in the first game to be won in their inaugural season.
Schaumburg Boomers
The Schaumburg Boomers in the Frontier League have signed[6] Salas for the 2022 season.
