Witold Gilarski (c. 1956 – disappeared 2 March 2025) is a retired consultant gynaecologist from Jarosław, Poland, who disappeared near Colombia, South America, during a paragliding event.[1]

On 1 March 2025, Gilarski was flying the last competitive leg of SRS Ozone Edition. According to witnesses, he launched from Calenton shortly before 11am, telling friends he planned not to fly the leg but rather his own route. At the first checkpoint, instead of flying south, he turned north and his celluar-phone based tracker stopped transmitting. His last recorded location was just three kilometers from his launch point.

A day later, he placed a 20-second cell phone call and stated that he was uninjured, had not been involved in an accident, and was located on a river bank[2]. Despite a massive search effort, no trace of Gilarski has been found.
