Woozi

Lee Jihoon (Korean: 이지훈; born 22 November 1996), known by his stage name Woozi (Korean: 우지), is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Seventeen and is the leader of its sub-unit "Vocal Unit" under Pledis Entertainment.

Early Life

Woozi was born in Busan, South Korea on 22 November 1996. He attended Hanlim Multi Arts High School.

Career

Pre-debut

Before debuting with Seventeen, Woozi was a trainee for 5 years. He was a member of 'Tempest' before Seventeen was created.

2015-present: Debut with Seventeen and Recognition as a Composer

In 2015, Woozi debuted with the South Korea boy band, Seventeen. Their first EP 17 Carat was digitally released on May 29.

Woozi writes most of Seventeen's songs along with Bumzu. Outside of his work with Seventeen, he has worked with artists such as Ailee, I.O.I, Chanyeol, fromis_9.
