WORDFIX is a word puzzle game word game developed by OrangeSpice Games.

Gameplay[edit]

WORDFIX is a word puzzle video game in which the player must solve a series of fifteen words. Each game consists of five stages where you have to rebuild three words per stage. Words not only increase in difficulty as you advance through the game stages, but they also grow in length.[1]

Wordfix has three styles of hints available. You can choose to reveal a consonant, vowel or the first letter of the word. Hints will cost you gold coins — these coins are earned as you solve puzzle stages.[2]

The game does not include plurals, names of places or people, academic or obscure words, past tense, present continuous or third person verbs.[3]

Development and release[edit]

WORDFIX was developed by OrangeSpice Games. The game was initially released for Windows Phone, Windows RT and Windows 8 devices on June 22, 2016.[4] An Android port was released on October 16, 2016.

Reception[edit]

WORDFIX received "generally favorable" reviews from players according to Windows Store digital distribution platform, receiving an average rating of 4.6 out of 5. An average rating of 4.5 out of 5 on Google Play digital distribution platform. A review on Windows Central states "WORDFIX has modest and simple graphics and while gameplay starts out easy, it builds up in difficulty nicely." "The game does a good job of balancing gaming difficulty".[5]
