World Boxing News - is a British-based online boxing news website founded in 2010 by journalist Phil Jay.[1] The site publishes boxing-related news,[2] results,[3] interviews,[4] and opinion articles.[5]

History

World Boxing News was launched in 2010. It provides coverage of international boxing events and conducts interviews with current[6] and former professional boxers,[7] promoters, and other figures in the sport.[8][9]

Awards

In 2020, the Boxing Writers Association of America recognized World Boxing News editor Phil Jay with an honorable mention in its annual writing contest, in the "Boxing Column" category, for commentary on the popularity of exhibition boxing.[10]
