World Curet Foundation
The World Curet Foundation (WCF) is a non-profit entity based in Chicago, Illinois and San Antonio, Texas, US with operations in Europe, Central America, and Asia. It is committed to promoting better health and healthcare education in the main underserved regions of the world’s six major continents. WCF started to work in 2015 in two continents (Central America and Asia) by sponsoring free clinics, medical missions, orphanages, and mobile healthcare services. Three more continents will be added within 10 years. The last two continents will be added within 20 years.
Description
The World Curet Foundation offers a variety of health-related interests to include health education, scheduled free clinic visits and treatments, as well as general medical evaluations. This assistance is offered to underserved communities around the world and people whose existence is supported by very limited education, opportunity or imposed poverty. From time to time, the World Curet Foundation sponsors medical missions and scholarship programs overseas. WCF has different projects in place as described below: Partnerships with multiple established programs in worldwide locations to serve thousands of patients free of charge over the past years of operating our charity works. Some of these locations include:
Guatemala
Free health care clinics, healthcare education and young single mother center.
El Salvador
Free health care clinics and Education.
Philippines
Orphanage.
Research and development (R & D)
Invasive breast cancer affects over 400,000 women according to published 2005 stats from the American Cancer Society (ACS). Current treatment regimens include hormonal treatments with Tamoxifen or Raloxifen, general chemotherapeutic agents, monoclonal antibody adjuvant therapy, radiation therapy, and/or surgery.
While the treatment of breast cancer depends on the grade and stage of the clinical presentation, there have been few studies to date to evaluate how these treatments affect outcomes in subpopulations of women with breast cancer. Our analysis uses new significant improvements in data mining to detect patterns that may otherwise be overlooked in traditional clinical studies. We are interested in finding clinical collaborators. We hope to track the patients’ progress and follow up with a second short questionnaire.
Use of data mining in virology especially classification algorithms, to determine the following :
- Viral replication patterns;
- Optimal course of treatments based on:
- T4 cells counts
- Patients’ medical history
- Patients’ treatment compliance
Projects
For many years, WCF has been making a difference in the lives of so many underserved communities by sponsoring mobile clinics in Central America and our plan is for expansion to other countries all over the world.
WCF operations include free services such as:
- Diagnosis and treatments of the main types of infections (e.g. pulmonary, urinary, skin, etc.)
- Thousands of OTC meds such as vitamins given to children;
- Free checkups;
- Provision of thousands of tableted medication for primary medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.);
Animal welfare and animal rights
WCF also supports animal rights and animal welfare. We help increase awareness and support for initiatives that push for a more humane way of slaughtering farm animals in those regions we visit.
As routinely recognized, a massive number of animals are bred to feed human communities. The least we can do is to give them proper nutrition, shelter and protection. Most of all, we should make their final moments less painful and more dignified as they are slaughtered for our benefit. Humanity dictates that essentially animals have as much right to live as we do. Promoting animal welfare is in no way an impediment to progress. Rather, animal rights is a principle that WCF believes simply must be upheld.
Under the leadership of the WCF President, our organization shall champion vegetarianism and minimalism while offering various avenues for humans to adequately and successfully maintain necessary intake of protein, vitamin, mineral, and various other required nutrients for proper health.[1]
