Pickleball Cup is an international pickleball tournament series that unites national teams in a competitive format to promote the sport globally.
History
The Pickleball Federation of the Americas (PFA) announced its official partnership with the Pickleball Cup in December 2024. The collaboration introduced the Regional Americas Cup, with the inaugural event scheduled for December 2025 in Cancun, Mexico. The Americas Cup serves as a qualifier for the World Pickleball Cup, a global competition designed to showcase top talent and promote international camaraderie.[1]
Global expansion
In 2024, the Confederation of African Pickleball (CAP) partnered with the Pickleball Cup, marking a significant milestone for the sport's growth in Africa. This partnership enables African teams to participate in the Pickleball Cup's international tournaments, culminating in the 2026 World Pickleball Cup.[2]
