Worldcoin is a fork of the Litecoin crypto currency with a 30 second block target and 265,420,800 total coins.^[7]

Worldcoin is a fully decentralised community run project^[8] ^[9]^[10] with focus on fast user-friendly transactions and a history of charitable funding.^[11] ^[12] ^[13] ^[14] ^[15] ^[16] ^[17]

The first Worldcoin ATM was installed in the Slovak capital of Bratislava in December 2013.^[18]

A limited edition of 500 Physical Worldcoin's where produced in 2013.^[19]

Worldcoin is traded on exchanges including xt.com, wbfex and altmarkets.io

Worldcoin has been actively mined from inception^[20] ^[21] ^[22] and most recently updated it's website and wallets in 2021 ^[23] ^[24] ^[25]
